A Bold New Chapter: Launching Prominence’s Website
When the client is a veteran Chief Marketing Officer, the bar rises. The vision has to be clear, the execution flawless, and the brand has to project confidence and expertise at first glance. With a name like “Prominence,” the design had to live up to the word — bold, striking, and unforgettable.
The project started where every brand should: the logo. I explored a wide range of concepts — each testing a different balance of authority and modernity — until the right mark emerged, one that captured what Prominence stands for and set the visual tone for everything that followed. The next step was a website that wouldn’t just showcase the identity — it would put it to work.
Designing a Website That Stands Out
Prominence’s website had to do more than look sharp. It needed to be intuitive, fast, and seamless across every device — from a boardroom desktop to a phone between meetings — because Prominence’s own clients are marketing executives who notice these things. I designed the website with that audience in mind: professional, focused, and structured to present Jillian’s services and expertise with clarity. Every page, breakpoint, and interaction was crafted and tested before launch.
A Partnership Built on Expertise
The most rewarding part of this project was the collaboration itself. Jillian Bartley, CEO – ProminenceMarketing brings over 18 years of senior marketing leadership in banking and financial services — a data-driven strategist who knows exactly what moves the needle in her industry. That made her not just a client but a true creative partner. From first concepts to launch day, we worked through every decision together, and the finished site is a precise reflection of Prominence’s mission and values because of it.
That’s the direct-collaboration model I’ve built my practice on: when you hire me, you’re working directly with the designer—not a sales representative from a costly ad agency. The person you hire is the person doing the work, in the room for every decision, ensuring clear communication, thoughtful design, and a process without unnecessary layers.
Deep Roots in Oklahoma Banking Design
Financial services is familiar territory for me. Since 1997, I’ve had the privilege of designing for some of Oklahoma’s most respected banking and financial institutions — BankFirst, Great Plains Bank, Communication Federal Credit Union, Bank of the Union, Prism Bank, FNB, Legg Mason, and Bank 2. That background matters on a project like this: banking audiences have specific expectations around trust, polish, and credibility, and knowing those instincts firsthand shaped everything from color decisions to the site’s tone.
The launch of Prominence’s website is the start of an ongoing partnership, with more initiatives ahead — and I’m looking forward to bringing that same financial services experience to each of them.
Celebrating the Launch
Every website launch is a milestone, but this one is worth raising a glass to — a testament to strategic design, genuine collaboration, and a shared vision executed from logo to live site. Here’s to Prominence, to Jillian, and to the projects ahead.
